Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother died of natural causes at the age of 90 on May 8, 2007 in Sandy, Utah.
Alberta was born on January 30, 1917 in Jacksonville, Illinois to Alfred Moss and Dolly Barton. After attending high school she held numerous jobs and married twice before marrying her beloved husband of 50 years, Leonard Fiedler, in 1957.
In life, Alberta and Leonard were inseparable. Their experiences included farming in Walla Walla, owning and managing a bowling alley in Glasgow, Montana, jobs in Port Ludlow, Washington and retirement in 1982. During retirement and with Walla Walla as their home base, they enjoyed trips to Europe, Australia, Hawaii, and numerous summers at their cabin on Lake Thomas by Colville, Washington.
Alberta is survived by her two son's Donald Eyre and Stanley Underwood, daughter in laws Maria Eyre and Cindy Underwood, four granddaughters, two grandsons and two great grandsons.
Alberta was known for her hard work and providing ways and while her care and love will be missed, the lessons she taught us about responsibility and honesty will not be forgotten.
Alberta will be buried with her husband, Leonard, who preceded her in death on June 8, 2006.
Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 1:30pm at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens, College Place, Washington on June 16, 2007.
