Alice May Hendrickson
On Easter, April 8, 2012, our loving mother, Alice Jolley Hendrickson passed away peacefully at the age of 84. She was born August 12, 1927 in Elberta, Utah to William and Melvina Jolley. She married Milton Hendrickson in the Salt Lake Temple on September 11, 1946.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She survived open heart surgery in the 1950s to lovingly raise a large family.
She loved golf, acting as president of several ladies golf associations. She loved jogging; often logging five miles or more each day. She adored birds, roses, Lawrence Welk, Johnny Cash and the lovely home in St George, Utah that she shared with Milt. She had many friends in Dixie. She had a special love for her sister Afton Bryson. All of her children and their families loved her dearly, and spent many happy times with her. She was deeply devoted to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Milton Hendrickson, her brother, Merlyn Jolley and her children, Janette Tree, Dale Hendrickson, Diane Hendrickson, David Hendrickson, Brian Hendrickson, and Gary Hendrickson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
The funeral service will be Saturday April 14, 2012 at the LDS Crystal Heights Ward 1978 East Stratford, Salt Lake City, Utah. There will be a viewing from 9 to 10:30 am with the service at 11:00 am.
