Alicia Walters Sheffield entered the world on February 24, 1977 in Provo, Utah, born to Paul Douglas and Diana Dean Walters.
She lost her life to pancreatic cancer on Aug. 25, 2009 at her home in Payson, Utah.
Alicia was a passionate author. She is known for her amazing sense of humor and brilliant creative mind. She was always positive and fun-loving. Alicia married Jared Vaughn Sheffield in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on May 30, 1998.
They have 4 very cherished children: Brooklyn (12), Jace (10), Madilyn (6), and Carly (almost 4). She was a caring and gentle mother and wife. She was a woman of great faith and taught in Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society callings.
She leaves behind for now: her husband; her children; her parents; her siblings: Natalie (Robert Short), Nathan (Megan), Andrew (Ali), and Steven (Trisha) Walters; her in-laws: Grant and Lola Sheffield from Brea, Calif. and the Walters and Sheffield extended families.
Alicia's life will be celebrated at a funeral to be held Monday, Aug 31 at 11:00 AM at the Payson 10th Ward building 780 W. 500 S. Interment at Provo City Cemetery. There will not be a viewing, but friends and family are invited to gather from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the service at the same location. Online condolences may be given at www.serenicare.com
