Allan David Coulombe passed away in Sandy, Utah on February 5, 2012. He was born in Harvey, Illinois on July 21, 1937 to Allen J. and Edna Rochelle Weinberger Coulombe.
He married his sweetheart Jessica Rascon Coulombe in El Paso, Texas on December 8, 1961. They just celebrated their Golden 50th wedding anniversary in December. They have three children, Patrick Mitchell (deceased), Alan and Lisa Michelle.
Allan served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1968. He drove for generals and dignitaries in Germany and France. He owned his own courier business, ADC Enterprises. He loved fishing, bowling, horseshoes and was an avid chess player. He played chess on the internet with people all over the world. Most of all, he loved dancing.
He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife Jessica, his son Alan (Michelle) Coulombe and his daughter Lisa Michelle Ovard. He is also survived by his grandchildren Daquari, Lindy, Shailey, A.J., Kersti, D.J., Phyilcia and C.J. and great-grandchildren Jaxson and Arlis. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Patrick Mitchell.
The family would like to give special thanks to the VA and Garden Terrace for all the care they gave Allan.
A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at SereniCare Funeral Home located at 12278 South Lone Peak Parkway, Draper, Utah.
