************* Dear Friends and Family (Ministering Angels),
It is with deep gratitude that I acknowledge all of you at this time, on January 20, 2009. I heard and felt my heart break, when our precious child, Allison, left us unexpectedly. The days since her return home have been a series of ups and downs, as well as denial and pain. I have been waiting for the phone calls that haven't come, yearning for the laughs that we use to share, and needing the conversations we used to have regarding her future plans, and the dreams and aspirations that she hoped to fulfill. But these things haven't happened and I know that I will have to wait until we are reunited to share these joys again. It has been said that the death of a loved one is a reluctant and drastic amputation without any anesthesia. I know this to be true but I also know God's promise, "God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow or sunshine without rain. But God did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way. And for all who believed in His Kingdom above, He answers their faith with everlasting love." As my very dear friends and family, you have gathered around me and those affected by this tragedy. Your overwhelming expressions of love and concern have left us speechless. The thoughtful acts of kindness and generosity and compassionate service have sustained me in my faith and beliefs, and helped us all through this "Veil of Tears". This being one of the trials and sorrows that one could endure, I know that I have been able to make it through because I know we will be together again. Your prayers have sent the angels down from the Heavens and have brought to us warmth and comfort that we did not realize existed. I have felt the piece and serenity form your prayers and from a loving Heavenly Father and Our Beloved Savior. I am so glad that He will never leave us. I am so deeply grateful for the atonement of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ and for the support of the church members. I appreciate your thoughtfulness on behalf of my grandchild, Zachary. Thank you for the love and support you have offered him. He is so impressionable and needs all of the wonderful influences, thoughts and examples of what our religion is all about. I would like to ask that you continue to pray for him and help him adjust to his new life. We close this letter, with heartfelt thanks for all the many things you have done and continue to do. Your kind expressions of sympathy and comfort will always be remembered. Thank you for all of your compassionate service. You are truly Ministering Angeles. Always with love and deep gratitude, Nancy Fisher, Kent Fisher, Zachary, Mindy, Steffan and Christian Gibbons
We would like to acknowledge SereniCare, especially Dick Johnson and Jennifer Shelley and associates for all of their efforts, kindness and professionalism that they gave to us at this time.
