Alta Mae Florez, 67, of Salt Lake City, passed away January 10, 2012, at a Salt Lake City local rehabilitation center.
Alta was born in Moscow, Idaho in 1944, while her father was in Patton's Army in southern Germany during WWII. She attended school and was raised in Troy, Idaho.
She married 3 times, 2 of them ending in divorce. Her last marriage was to Art Florez, who died in 1985. She had lived in Elko, Nevada. She then moved to Salt Lake City where she spent the rest of her life.
She is survived by her sister, Janice Black in Meridian, Idaho and 3 nephews and many cousins. She will be interred later in Moscow, Idaho.
