Our loving mother, Amy Emiko Wilson, 74 passed away due to liver complications. She is survived by her husband, Enosa Wilson and her 4 children Tanya Schumaker(Chuck), Tamra Witter (Calvin), Mark Wilson (Cheryl), and Shauna Tiatia (Vaopele). She has 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Born to Makoto and Umeko Fuchigami, She grew up with her 3 brothers Ronald, Harris and Jimmy on the island of Lanai, Hawaii. She was popular and ambitious by being both the Class President and Homecoming Queen at Lanai High School.
Amy continued her education by attending Brigham Young University where she met her sweetheart and husband, Enosa Wilson. She graduated with a teaching degree and was a positive influence and a great role model to thousands of children throughout her 29 years of working as a Teacher. She was such a giving person who always put others needs before herself. She loved to play the piano for church functions and was a great BYU fan. She was an active and devoted member of the LDS church and served 4 missions with her husband to Western Samoa and the Missionary Training Center. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held with her family and friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Provo 10th Ward Chapel, 1625 South Slate Canyon Drive, Provo UT 84606. Viewing 11:30am-1:30pm. Service 2:00pm-3:00pm. Interment 4:00pm at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North EastLawn Drive, Provo, UT 84604.
