Our beloved mother, Ana Tupou Angilau Maka, ascended her soul to the Heavens peacefully while surrounded by her family on May 29th 2012.
Mom gave us life, understood our tears and calmed our fears. A devout member of the LDS faith with great love and never any judgment, we felt her joy in her warm and kind smile.
Born on 3/27/1947 in Kolofo'ou, Nuku'alofa to Sione Siuele & 'Amelia Siumalu Angilau where she was the oldest of 12. She married Angitau M. Mosaati, in 1963 and was later sealed for all time and eternity in The Salt Lake City Temple of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where they raised a family of 8 children and 36 grandchildren in Utah.
Preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings; she is survived by her husband and children: Viliami Tinitali Mosaati Maka (Maile), Sulieti (Aiveni)Taufa, Siosiua Nau Mosaati Maka (Lotomoua), Peti 'Elini Falupenga (Fakaosi)Mo'unga), Maile Nani (Sulimani)Fine, Mele Tu'ipulotu (Otinili)Pasikala, Lusia Lokelani (Nathan)Skipps and Andrew Mosaati Maka.
Family and friends will be welcomed at her viewing this Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Togan North Stake Center, 4440 W 3325 South, West Valley City at 6:00-11:00p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Riverside Tongan Ward on 660 N Redwood Rd. A family viewing will be held at the same address as the service on Monday morning from 8:00-10:30am followed by the Service.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery on 6500 South Redwood Rd is where our beloved mother, wife and grandmother will be laid to rest. Ofa lahi atu ki ho fofonga 'ofa si'emau fa'e, ko 'emau mata'i koloa.
