'Anaseini 'Ita'aehau Latu

'Anaseini 'Ita'aehau Latu 67, our precious and beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away May 11, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Seini was born March 12, 1940 in Ha'akame, Tonga the daughter of Tevita 'Ita'aehau of Ha'akame and 'Ana Siosi Moala of Nukuleka. She married Tevita Lanitalo Latu of Mataika, Vava'u in 1968, Nuku'alofa, Tonga. They were later sealed in the Auckland New Zealand Temple in November 1977.
Seini was very talented especially using her hands in sewing and crafts. She always wanted to help and serve others and to make them happy and enjoy life to the fullest. She held many callings in the LDS church from being a nursery leader to relief society president. Seini was a happy person, she loves to makes people laugh especially her nieces and nephews. Her courage, strength, amazing attitude throughout all of the adversity in her life has truly been inspiring. She was a loving wife and mother. The most important things in her life were her family and service to others. She will be missed greatly by her family who will always love her very much.
Seini is survived by her children: Oso (Tapaita) Fevanga, 'Isileli Maluloa Latu, 'Evona Latu, Polotani (Krystal) Latu, Peni (Latu) Latu, Tasia ('Alani) Malafu, Nanise (Tukumohe) Takitaki and Sione Latu; 21 grand-children and two sisters: Heleine Tupou and Leonita Tupou. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and four sisters.
A viewing will be held Monday, May 14, 2007 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at Sandy, Utah East Stake, 9636 South 1700 East and Thursday May 17, 2007 in Maui, Hawaii. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday May 18, 2007 in Maui, Hawaii. Funeral arrangement made by SereniCare Funeral Directors. Interment will be at Valley Isle Cemetery, Haiku, Hawaii.
