Andrew David Evans, 44, passed away July 25, 2011 at his home in San Diego, California. He was born June 22, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ralph Folland Evans and Mildred Edwards Evans. He attended East High School, the University of Utah and graduated with a degree in Architecture from the New School of Architecture in San Diego. Andrew joined the U. S. Marine Corps in 1990 and served during Operation Desert Storm with his reserve unit. In addition to his talent in architecture, Andrew was a gifted artist and writer. He is survived by his parents; sister Carrie Evans Farr (Stephen), brother Ralph Folland Evans II (Angela), grandmother, Dorothy Folland Evans and his nieces and nephews; Ashley Farr Walker (Aaron) (Dallin, Brooklyn and Aiden Walker), Spencer Farr (Natalie Minniss), Nathan Farr (Kassie), Amanda Farr, Chase Evans, Brittney Evans, Hunter Evans and Quincy Evans. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. We will all miss him terribly. Funeral services will be at noon Friday, August 5th at the Twenty-seventh East Ward, 4th Avenue and P Street, Salt Lake City. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. preceding the service or Thursday, August 4th from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Twenty-seventh East Ward.
