Anna Gene Carroll

Anna Gene Carroll, age 67, lost her battle with breast cancer on Friday, December 31, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Enoch, UT. She was born January 16, 1943, in Salt Lake City, UT, to John Ellis and Hazel Verenna Hansen Ames.
She is survived by: her loving husband, David Carroll; 12 children, Charles Watson of Petaluma, CA, Larue McQuin of Las Vegas, NV, Hershel Ames of Cedar City, UT, Earl Johnson of Cedar City, UT, Donna Elsayed of Alexandria, Egypt, Rob Johnson of Kansas City, KS, Michael Johnson of Ogden, UT, David Johnson of Payson, UT, Nikolena Peterson of West Jordan, UT, Lydia Draper of Cedar City, UT, Richard Johnson of Payson, UT, and Daniel Carroll of Enoch, UT; 33 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Norman Ames, Minnie Rice, John Ames, Hazel Winn, and George Ames. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Helen Kay Hansen Hunt; husband, James Watson; and granddaughter, Kristin Nicole Peterson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Enoch First Ward LDS Chapel, 451 E. Midvalley Rd., Enoch, UT. A visitation will be held prior to services from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Cedar City Cemetery.
