Ardel Krantz Bennett Biesingera€"faithful and loving wife, mother, nana, and grandma, passed from this life into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father from Alzheimer's Disease on April 1 at home. Ardel was born April 21, 1934 to Ida and Henry Krantz. She attended Granite High and the University of Utah. She married Carl Bennett in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1954. They enjoyed 40 years together. She married Thomas Biesinger in 1996 in the Salt Lake City Temple and found much happiness. Ardel loved music, playing the violin, gardening, cooking, sports, homemaking and caring for her family. She had a 'cute' sense of humor. Ardel dearly loved her Heavenly Father and faithfully served in many callings in the LDS church. Ardel was a perfect example of a wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Biesinger; her children, Carlie (Jerry) Austin, Matt Bennett, Caren Bennett and Teri (Blake) Johnson; her 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brothers, LaVar (Marilyn) Krantz, Darol (Phyllis) Krantz; sister, Marlene (Glen) Steiner; five step children, Thomas S. (Nina) Biesinger, Louise (Larry) Goldenson, Geoffrey (Rachel) Biesinger, Rachel (Broman) Sillito, and Kevin Biesinger. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl, and her second son, Brent Carl Bennett. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland 1st Ward (4000 West 10200 South). Friends and family may call on Sunday, April 6 between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. at the same location. Burial will be at Mt. View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South. Arrangements are by SereniCare Funeral Home. We love you Ardel! Until we meet again.
