Our beloved mother and grandmother joined her sweetheart, on May 19, 2006. She was born May 23, 1924, in Christenburg, (near Gunnison) Utah, to Joseph Oscar and Effie Susanah Sandin. She was the youngest child of nine children. She married her eternal sweetheart, Max Ramsdell Haney, June 25, 1941, in the Manti Temple. He died in 1974. She grew up and also raised her four daughters in Hatch, Utah. After Max's death, she moved to Payson, Utah, in 1976, to live with her daughter and her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership and teaching positions. She loved the gospel and had a very strong testimony. She was very talented in many things, especially anything that associated with homemaking and genealogy. Her family meant everything to her and she loved them all very much. She is survived by her three daughters: Lillian Arlene (David) Dickinson, Livermore, CA; Ladean (Charles) Baze, Rockport, IL; Diane (Gregory) Anderson, Payson, Utah; Son-in-law Lloyd (Joann) Christensen, Kanab, Utah; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; 5 brothers and 3 sisters; her husband; a daughter, Joan Christensen. The family wants to express special thanks to the caregivers at Alpine Home Care and Hospice for their loving care and service. Funeral services will be held at the Payson 11th Ward LDS church located at 900 West 400 North Payson, Utah on Tues, May 23 at 10:00am. A viewing will be held the same day at 9:00am.
