Arlene Christensen Weaver has completed her sojourn in mortality. She was born to Ted J. and LaVon Fowler Christensen in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Arlene's early years were spent in Salt Lake City and Granger, Utah. She was a member of Granger High School's first graduating class in 1959. After attending B.Y.U. she moved to California where she resided in Huntington Beach for most of her adult life. She worked for many years in the food service industry to support herself and her only son, whose current whereabouts is unknown. When her health began to fail, she returned to the Salt Lake area where she has resided for the past nine years. Appreciation is expressed to everyone at Murray Care Center who cared for Arlene's needs during the final years of her life. She is survived by her father and two brothers, Fred (Doris) Christensen, South Jordan, Utah, Paul (Kathy) Christensen, Thousand Oaks, California. A grave side service will be held on September 19th at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah.
