Audrey Madsen Stocking died March 12, 2010 of causes incident to age. She was born on Feb. 26, 1928 in Manti, Utah, the third of 11 children born to Elizabeth Fox and Andrew Clinton Madsen. Her 36 year marriage to Dale William Stocking began May 3, 1946. This special and happy union produced three children and was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple June 8, 1954. Raised and educated in Salt Lake City, she graduated from South High, class of 1945. She also attended SL Community College. Retired from Mountain Bell in 1983 where she was a business office supervisor. Her family was her life. Her biggest thrill was supporting her children and grandchildren in their sports and many other activities. She like traveling, Easter Egg Hunts, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas morning, birthdays, Sunday dinners, HUGS and frozen yogurt. During her life she enjoyed swimming, boating, water skiing, snowmobiling, camping and traveling with family and friends in the motor home. As a member of the LDS church she served in many capacities especially loved serving as Den Mother to many cub scouts. She is survived by a son Dale Clinton Stocking (Vera), Sandy, Utah, and a daughter, Karen Beth Rolfe (Wes), Great Falls, Montana, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, with one on the way, six sisters and three brothers. Proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Dale William, son, Bruce William, and one brother. The family has arranged for private family services.
