Azile Gail Cox passed away August 16, 2012 in Draper, Utah. He was born April 12, 1934 in Tooele, Utah to George Francis and Jesse Eliza Fox Cox.
He married his dear sweetheart, Barbara Ingeborg Wells Cox on April 26, 1951 in Evanston, Wyoming. They have enjoyed 61 wonderful years together. They have 4 children, Richard Cox, Christine Lutterman, Elizabeth Meier, and Rebecca Armstrong.
Azile attended Granite High School and Laramie County Community College. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 10 years, IBM for 15 years and was self-employed for 25 years. Azile loved hunting, fishing, water skiing, camping, traveling, Indian art, garage sales and swap meets.
He is survived by his wife, children, 18 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Jesse Cox, Marion Cox, Kenneth Cox and sister, Rosemary Alder.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 13112 South 700 East, Draper, Utah, 84020 with family prayer at 10:30 a.m.
