Our beloved Azure Charity Gray, 32, passed away on May 24, 2024, in her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 30, 1991, to Suzi and Brent Gray. Although her life was tragically cut short, Azure lived a life full of adventure.
Azure was enthusiastic about life and always sought to have a good time with friends and family. People close to her recall her infectious laughter, fiery personality, and kind-hearted nature.
Azure was a compassionate person, a friend to all, who always showed up for those she cared for. She loved whole-heartedly, and made a habit of generously gifting her loved ones with thoughtful presents. Her friends and family meant the world to her, and she was willing to do anything for them. Steaks rare, a lively barbeque, and good music were Azure’s idea of a great time. Concerts brought her immense joy. She loved singing her heart out to her favorite songs.
Besides her love of music, Azure was passionate about the outdoors. She was passionate about hiking, camping, and playing kickball. During football season, she cheered on the Green Bay Packers with great enthusiasm.
Azure loved all dogs, but Rocko held a special place in her heart. He meant everything to her. They were always together. Azure considered Rocko and Meeko her children and spoiled them endlessly. She spent countless hours hiking with dogs across the Salt Lake Valley.
Azure radiated beauty both inside and out. Her
lively personality, bright smile, and unforgettable laugh will be deeply missed.
Azure is survived by her mom Suzi, brother Remington, sister Abee, Colby (Avery), Grandpa Don Gray, Aunt Joni Bingham, Grandparents Rebecca and Brent Reber, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews Calvin and Briggs, niece Stella, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her daddy Brent, Grandma Ruth Gray, and Rocko.
