Baleigh Shae Bagshaw

Baleigh Shae Bagshaw, 15, returned to her Heavenly Father on May 7, 2018. Baleigh was born Nov. 4, 2002 to W. Troy and Shawna Dee Bagshaw. She attended several schools, including Utah Military Academy, Northwest Middle School, and most recently was a freshman at West High School. She loved photography, drama club, and was passionate about animals. Her dream was to train service animals of all breeds. When she wasn’t busy with her extracurricular activities, she loved babysitting and worked at Leatherby’s Family Creamery in Salt Lake.

Baleigh is preceded in death by her father, Troy, and is survived by her mother, Shawna Bagshaw, sister Miranda Cannon, brother Kavan (Nichole) Cannon, soon to be niece Mia Cannon, grandparents William and Deamileen Salisbury and Ross and Carolyn Bagshaw, and aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Services will be held at the Rosedale Ward at 1148 West 500 North. Viewing May 15 from 6-8pm and May 16 from 9:30-10:45am, Funeral May 16 at 11am. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, where Baleigh will be laid to rest next to her father. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the huge community support they have received during this difficult time and especially the Salt Lake City Police Department.
