Barbara Ann Collidge

May the fondest memories of Barbara Ann Moulton bless our lives as we reflect on her adventuresome nature, her bold spirit and great love of Life itself. Barbara made her earthly debut on November 29, 1945, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born to Walter Edward Moulton and Marjorie Lucille Martin; she was the third of eight children. Barbara was blessed with many, many talents. She colored our world with her diversity of art creations. Her blend of colors was spectacular, and her imagination, priceless!
Barbara's love of nature spawned many adventures in travel. From her skiing days in Sun Valley, Idaho, where she lived as a young girl, to her adventures on Orcas Island as an adult, she came to love many sports. Swimming, ice skating, tennis (she often kept her tennis racket close by when her children were younger) and skiing were amongst the sports that she enjoyed; Camping, Fishing and Hiking were activities that she absolutely loved! She appreciated music and enjoyed playing the piano. It brought her great happiness to play the tambourine (on stage) with a live band.
Barbara loved to explore life at many different angles. One of her passions became that of holistic health. She continually sought out methods to remain healthy and fit.
As a teenager in 1959, she moved with her family back to Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated from Rancho High School. It was in Las Vegas where she met her first husband, Donald Coplin. They eventually moved to Michigan where Mr. Coplin completed Dental School; they were blessed with two beautiful children: Christopher and Holly. After divorcing, she traveled and made Idaho her main place of residence. She married and divorced Jerry Coolidge, and later, Dennis Miller. She became a CNA and provided In- home health care services in Florida, Idaho and Nevada.
After being diagnosed with cancer in 2004, Barbara became determined to beat this pernicious disease. She fought a long, difficult and courageous battle which ended on March 24, 2009 in Springville, Utah. Many family members helped her along this difficult path she'd been placed upon. She continually expressed her love and gratitude to her children and extended family members for their faithful love and support.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Walter E. Moulton and brother, Richard Moulton. She is survived by her son, Dr. Chris (Stephanie) Coplin of Mesa, Arizona; her daughter, Holly (Tim) Anderson of Laguna Beach, California; seven beautiful grandchildren: Michael, Rachael, Mirabella, Sarah, Phoebe, Parker and Jacob; her sweet mother, Marjorie L.( Gordon) Hayes of Nampa, Idaho; Walter Moulton of Provo, Utah; Dr. William (Janeen) Moulton of Mesquite, Nevada; Robert Moulton of Mesquite, Nevada; (her nearest and dearest friend and sister) Sandra (John)Anderson of Nampa, Idaho; James (Gwen)Moulton of Payson, Utah and Phillip (Brenda) Moulton of Ivins, Utah.
Memorial services will be held in Nampa, Idaho on April 18th. Barbara's zest for life, beauty and love of nature will be long remembered. Until we met again in Christ, God be with you, Barbara Ann.
