Barbara Jean Burgi Ferguson passed away March 4, 2010. Barbara was born December 14, 1925 in Mammoth, Utah to Ernest and Teresa Evans Burgi. She attended high school in Springville, Utah. She married her sweetheart Ivan Henry Ferguson, July 15, 1949 in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple. She worked as a grocery checker at Allen's Super Save.
Barbara enjoyed many hobbies. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, ceramics and flower gardening. She had a large ceramic Christmas village and received the award of "Yard of the Month". She made the best fudge ever! She also enjoyed doing much church service. She was also a member of the Good Sam Club with her husband.
Survived by her husband, Ivan Henry Ferguson, sister Colleen Larsen (Hayden), brother Robert Burgi (Beverly), children Patsy Lee Ferguson, Randy E. Ferguson (Barbara), Rick Ferguson (Rashell), and Sheri Lyn Gali.
Preceded in death by daughter Cindy Lou Clifton, grandson Gary Wayne Clifton II, and brothers Ernest Burgi and Fred Burgi.
She has 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Church 380 South 300 East. Viewings will be held at the same location on Tuesday evening, March 9th, 6 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday morning prior to services at 11:30 a.m. She will be interred in the American Fork cemetery.
