Barbara Lucille Smith Huddleston Toombs

Barbara Lucille Smith Huddleston Toombs passed away on September 3, 2013 in Layton, UT. Barbara was born on February 8, 1927 in Huntsville, UT to Clarence Henry Smith and Selma Zina Mortensen. She lived her entire life in Huntsville. Barbara married Robert Joseph Huddleston on August 9, 1946 in Ogden, UT. Robert passed away on May 26, 1968. She married William Bernell Toombs July 2, 1970 in Pocatello, ID. Bernell passed away December 29, 2009. Barbara enjoyed gardening, including house plants and growing fruits and vegetables. She loved spending time with family and playing with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her most enjoyable callings was serving as a Service Missionary at Temple Square with Bernell. Barbara is survived by her children Robert (Anna) Huddleston of Las Vegas, NV, Carol Widdison of Kaysville, UT, Marian (Shan) Hellstrom of North Ogden, UT, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and her sisters Florence Mumford, Dona Thompson, Cleo (Al) Zarek, and Ila (Ray) Housley and sister-in-law Jeannie Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son William Huddleston, two brothers John "Jack" Smith and Larry Smith. Services were held in the Huntsville City Cemetery on September 6, 2013.
