Fern Huntington Beckstrom Warner On October 13th, 2007 our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Fern Huntington Beckstrom Warner passed away at Mountain Air Care Center in Payson, Utah. She and her twin sister, Fay was born on September 2nd, 1918 to Edward Ray and Karen Emelia Otelia Nielson Huntington. She married Jack Beckstrom on December 19th, 1938 in the Manti LDS Temple and had two children, Joyce and Jim. She suffered the loss of her husband on March 30th, 1945. She met Earl Holt Warner and they married on June 1st, 1950. They had four children, Earlene, Morgan, Mark and Dean. Earl died on February 18th, 1989. Fern remained in their home in Spanish Fork for many years following his death. For the last few years she has been under the care of her daughter Earlene in Kanab, Utah. Fern was a kind and gentle woman who was greatly loved by all who knew her. She would do anything for her children and grandchildren. Time spent in her home was very special because of the love, care and service rendered to all who had the good fortune of being there. She loved doing things for others and everyone who knew her could recount stories of her goodness and generosity. Fern was a wonderful cook and enjoyed crocheting. No one ever left her table hungry, and if you admired any of her beautiful handiwork, it quickly became a special gift she wanted you to have. She was an active member of the LDS Church and her life mirrored the best ideals and teachings of her beliefs. She was a unique and inspiring lady. Fern was preceded in death by her brother John Ray Huntington. Surviving siblings are Fay (Ferrin) Wood, Rhea (Leland) Jolley, Eldene (Richard) Sheen, Glen (Mary) Huntington, Edith (Jerry) Dunn, and Ethel (Merrill) Sorenson. She is also survived by her children and their spouses: Joyce (Shirl) Simmons of Lake, Shore, Utah; James (Joanne) Beckstrom of Spanish Fork, Utah; Earlene (Gene) Drake of Kanab, Utah; Morgan (Mary) Warner of Peoria, Arizona; Mark (Donna) Warner of Orem, Utah; and Dean (Eileen) Warner of Woods Cross, Utah; and by 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork LDS Ward, 1006 East 200 South, Spanish Fork, Utah.
