Benjamin David Hill

On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, Ben Hill left mortality and returned to his Father in Heaven. Ben was born in Forest Grove, Oregon on August 18, 1979 to Richard Wayne Hill, Jr. and Melinda Gayle (Still) Hill.
He married the love of his life and best friend, Virginia Lee (Happnie) Hill on May 21, 2004 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple , A.F., Utah , for time and all eternity. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Ginny, and his two precious daughters, Jocelyn Michelle (2) and Sophia Leigh (11 months), his parents, and by his five siblings, Joseph (Sara) Hill, Nathaniel (Laura) Hill, Terisa (Warren) Humiston, Christina (Spencer) Sitton, and Crystal (Ryan) Sitton. He is also survived by his grandmothers Valeria Still and Donna Hill. Ben and his dear wife have a strong and special bond that will transcend this mortal realm and continue on in the life hereafter. The love he has for his two beautiful daughters means everything to him. He loves his family so dearly, just as they love him. Ben loved being a pilot and was currently employed at Utah Valley University 's Aviation school as an exceptional flight instructor. He was respected for his superb capacities and expertise, both as a meticulous and thorough trainer, and as a pilot who had mastered all aspects of every plane he piloted. He served an LDS mission in Cleveland, Ohio in 2001. Ben loved the mountains, canyons, and rivers of Utah, avidly fishing, hiking, backpacking, and camping. He loved going to the shooting range and had excellent marksmanship. He was an expert fly fisherman, frequently guiding fly fishing tours to people from all over the country and tying his own flies. Ben has always had the tenderest of hearts. He loved taking care of his family and friends. He was an excellent mechanic and frequently lent his car to anyone that needed it. He took care of the people he loved with a sincerity we will all miss. Ben impacted everyone along his path and we know that he will continue to do that where he is. We love him so much and will miss him until we see him again.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the LDS chapel on 1627 West Cadbury Lane in Springville, Utah. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the same location.
A fund has been established for his wife, Ginny, and their two little girls, through Wells Fargo Bank under the name of Benjamin Hill Memorial Fund.
