Mrs. Beth Chappell passed away at the age of 94 on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the home of her granddaughter Debbi.
Born November 22, 1917, in Moab, Utah she lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for most of her life. She worked at LDS Hospital for over 30 years as a surgical tech and loved every minute of it, so much that she volunteered for the next 14 years after she retired. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved to do genealogy and was the Stake Extraction Missionary for over 20 years. Grandma loved her family and would do everything she possibly could for them.
Survived by her son: Steven Chappell (Lauri) and grandkids: Tami Bird (Mike), Debbi Deem (Paul) and Dale Chappell (Heidi), 19 great grandkids and 11 great-great grandkids.
Preceded in death by Alva (husband), Stewart (son), Bruce (son), William (father), Ada (mother), Henry (brother), Helen (sister).

Funeral services will be held at 680 2nd Avenue on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit with the Chappell family from 10:00-11:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Redwood Memorial Estates located at 6500 Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
