Betty Dee Beesley Jones

Our loving mother, Betty Dee Beesley Jones, passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family on the 1st of September, 2012 in Provo, Utah; she was 85 years old. Born September 10, 1926 in Provo, Utah, to Clarence and Grace Vincent Beesley. Married the love of her life Robert T. Seerie Jones on June 1, 1948. Together they raised seven children. Betty was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Her hallmark was the love she had for her family and her delicious cooking - more often than not, from scratch. Many a Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas were enjoyed at her home. Always generous to a fault, she will be cherished in our hearts forever. Survived by her children James (Patricia) Griffith, Delta, CO; Robert (Catherine) Jones, Payson; Susan (Gary) Gunnell, Lehi; Steven Jones, Salem; Randy (Lisa) Jones, Provo; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, brother Max Beesley, infant children Barbara Ann and Michael Craig, grandchildren Kristopher Jones, Eric Gunnell, Danielle Jones, and Thomas Griffith. Graveside services will be held at the Provo City Cemetery on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Special thanks to Lisa and the sweet IHC Hospice team for their loving care.
