Betty Jean Tyree

Betty Jean Tyree, 73, passed away January 25, 2007 in Payson , Utah . She was born March 18, 1933 in Jackson , Mississippi to Ivy Marcellus Hodges and Mamie Elizabeth Wilson. She married Robert Alford and had 3 children. They were later divorced and she married Lionel R. Tyree in the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City , Utah on April 10, 1969.
Betty was a Registered Nurse and a doctor of Homeopathic medicine. She loved serving and caring for people and dearly loved her family. We will all miss her greatly.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Jean, Steven, Kathie, Lionel, Cara, Mary and Glynne; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Lionel and son Charles.
The funeral will be held January 29, 2007 at 12:00pm at the 1st Ward LDS chapel, 8th Street and Franklin, Las Vegas , Nevada . A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery , 7251 West Lone Mountain Road , Las Vegas , Nevada
