Billie Darleen Clark Facer, 70, died Jan 1, 2007 after suffering with Alzheimer's for many years. She was born Aug 7, 1936 in Springville, UT to Frank Huntington and Afton Madsen Clark. She was the youngest of 4 children. She married Reed Holbrook Facer on April 16, 1955 in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on Nov 16, 1955. They have 5 children. Darleen, as she was known as an adult, was an active member of the LDS church. She served in many callings in Relief Society, Young Women's, Primary and Sunday school. She loved quilting, needlepoint, music, reading, and tole painting. Most of all she loved her husband and family. She and Reed worked together as Church custodians for a time. We have missed her enthusiasm and laughter for many years. Darleen is survived by her husband of 51 years, and 4 children- Wendy F.Kanno of Lehi, Gary (Susan) of Orem, Craig (Lisa) of Santaquin, Kristen Henderson (Lou) of American Fork, and a sister, LuDean Payne of Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen, son-in-law Kevin, grandaughter Adrian, her brother Jack and sister Shirley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan 6 at 11:00 in the Pacific Drive LDS chapel, 507 W 700 N in American Fork, UT. Friends may call at the church prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:45. Interment will be in the American Fork City cemetery under the direction of Serenicare Funeral Home.
