Billie Lee Stanley, 83, died September 14, 2006 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born November 25, 1922 in Floydada, Texas to Grover and Willie Raley Standlee. He married Ethel Wan Record November 9, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bill is a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army as a ammunitions driver to the front line. He was a tow truck driver for over 25 years working for By's Body and Paint and Hinkley Dodge. He was a hard working loving father that raised a family that loves him dearly. He was always willing to help others in need. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Ethel, children Leslie Means, Connie (Don) Patton, James Means, Leila Stanley Goodrich, Laura Stanley, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, best friend Bill Perkins. Thank you Bill for being Dad's best friend through out the years. Preceded in death by his son Kenneth Standlee and granddaughter Tracey Means.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Riverton, Utah. A viewing will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday prior to services at the Utah Veterans Memorial Chapel.
