Blaine Wilcox Perkins

Blaine quietly passed away Wed. morning of heart failure. The 4th of 8 children born to Orvel John and Jennie Josephine Perkins, he married Jean Margaret Day in the Salt Lake temple Nov. 8, 1957. Blaine was an active member of the LDS church serving in every organization. He served ward and stake missions and in the Northwestern states and Tonga. He worked 43 years for the phone company.
He is survived by his wife, younger brother Doyle (Marlene), and 7 children: Steve (Holly), Greg (Guy Hanna), David (Virginia), Julie (Mike) Wallace, Sheri Trigaud, Diane, Kathy and 22 grandchildren. Blaine was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Orvel Jr. "Perk", Josephine, DeWayne, Nolan, Roy and Jackie.
Friends may call Fri. 8/29 from 6-8pm at the Butler Stake Center: 7035 S. Nutree Dr. (~3300 E.) SLC, UT. Funeral services held at the same location Sat. at 11am. Viewing 9:30-10:30. Interment 1:30pm at the Highland City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS Church Missionary Fund.
