Blanche H Cox

Blanche Hutchinson Cox, 94, passed away on February 12, 2013 in St. George.,UT She was born February 10, 1919, to Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Mortensen Hutchinson in Metropolis, Nevada. She was the 15th of 17 children with nine sisters and seven brothers. She married Elliott J. Cox. Together they raised their family in Manti and she worked side-by-side with him at their business, Moroni Coal and Building Supplies. She loved the gospel and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She served in many capacities in the church and in the Manti Temple. She served a mission in Boston, Massachusetts. She had a great love for her family and was proud of each of them. She is survived by her children JoAnne (Tom) Hoggan, Vista, CA, Katherine Bishop, Deerefield Beach, Florida, Mary Adams, Manhattan Beach, CA, Jeff (Yvonne) Cox, Washington, UT, and Mark (Cheryl) Cox, Moroni, UT. She has sixteen grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Summerbell, Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Drake Cox. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 16, at 1:00 p.m. at the Manti Cemetery.
