BLAYNE JOHNSON OBITUARY Blayne Wynston Johnson, 74, of Washington, UT, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011, at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, UT. He was born November 8, 1936 in Logan, UT, to Byron Wesley and Eulalia Myler Johnson. He married Annette Rolfsen on August 8, 1958 in the Logan, UT, LDS Temple.
After graduating from South Cache High School, Blayne served in the U.S. Army as a machine gun sergeant. His loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, metal detecting, family picnics and get togethers.
Blayne is survived by his wife, Annette and children: Stephanie, Boyd, Gaylene, Martin, Andrea, Julia, Tyler, Beth, and Stephen; also 38 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Johnson, and sisters, Eula Allred and Murial Rawlings. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Washington LDS 9th Ward, 115 W. 2000 S. in Washington, UT. A viewing will be held at the church at 9:30 a.m., prior to services where friends and family may call. Interment will follow at the Washington City Cemetery with military honors.
