Robert Emmett Ingersoll died December 23, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born April 8, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henroid Emmett and Helen Roxbrough Ingersoll. Bob had many struggles as he was growing up including his epilepsy. He graduated from East High School and the University of Utah and had a high I.Q.
Among his living relatives are a brother, Ron (Liz) Ingersoll and their children Karen and Lynn from Arizona. Cousins, Suzanne and Stan Roxbrough.
At one time Bob worked as a volunteer at the Epilepsy Center to get some current work experience. Bob was a faithful LDS church member and home teacher and had a positive impact on many people who knew him. He worked on improving his physical, social, religious and intellectual abilities regularly. In 1998 he moved to Friendship Manor. After living there a few years he needed more help and moved to Canyon Rim Care Center. He has been loved and appreciated by the staff and patrons of both of these facilities.
Bob lived on the Avenues in Salt Lake for many years so the services will be held there 11:00 am, Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the 21st Ward on 2nd Avenue between J and K Street. A viewing will be at the church prior to the services at 10:30 am. Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
