Carlos F. Perez

Capt. Carlos F. Perez aka CHALIN passed away peacefully on December 12, 2010 at 11:03 am of natural causes. He was born January 14, 1924 in San Pedro Sula Honduras. He was the second oldest of four brothers, Luis A. Perez, Carlos F. Perez, Jose M. Perez, Santiago Perez. Husband to Ketty Perez for 40 years and 9 months of which most were wonderful. THE WORLDS GREATEST FATHER!!!! No doubt he was just asking either one of his three sons the oldest of course Carlos Jose Perez, the brattiest Mauricio Perez, and the baby Clyde Perez. He is survived by a wonderful family which he created and got to see most his granddaughter Jenifer Perez his grandsons, Derek Perez, Jason Perez. Granddaughter on the way yeap still cooking Giselle Perez almost got to see her but I bet he is instructing her to give her parents hell. He served in the U.S. military during World War II yes a long time ago and also served during desert storm alongside his youngest baby Clyde. He was a man of few words but many beatings but have to admit all of which we deserved. The man was determined and hard working. He made it from being a deck hand in the U.S. Navy to becoming a Captain for Tan Sasa the biggest airline ever in Honduras. He was one of the founding fathers of the crop dusting airport in La Lima Honduras. The banana fruit company has a lot to be thankful for, made them millions and became the major export in Honduras. He then sacrificed and sold everything in Honduras to bring the family together in the U.S. Lived in New Orleans Louisiana for many years endured many hurricanes. Then his son talked them into moving in with him thank god just before Katrina hit. Feeling displaced but having family around made him feel a lot better. Although Alzheimer's was taking a toll on his life he always kept upbeat and positive about living.
