Carlyle George Wilson July 28, 1913-June 22, 2011 Carlyle George Wilson, 97, returned to his Heavenly Father and his beloved companion Ethel.
Born on July 28, 1913 to George Benjamin and Susie Cox Wilson, Carlyle served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Northern Africa and Italy. He married Ethel Revill in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised six children.
Survived by his children: Tracy (Glenna), Carl (On), John (Sharon), Byron (Vivian) and Ruth Hagen and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother David, sister Julia (Al) Thomas.
Preceded in death by his wife Ethel, daughter Mary Clayburn Withers, brother Benjamin Vere Wilson, sisters Ruth Ragozzine, Rose Frazier, Susanola Ruesch, and grandson Aaron John Wilson.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 11, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
