Carol Leatham Converse

Carol Leatham Converse was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho December 25, 1943. She was the youngest daughter of Harold G. and Florence Leatham. She married Willis Converse June 1, 1960 in Shelley, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS Temple on December 3, 1982.
Carols hobbies included quilting, sewing, and many different crafts. Carol was a co-business owner with her husband Willis in the moving industry for over 42 years. Carol's greatest expression of love was taking care of the love of her life Willis and most recently she found great joy in caring for her Great-grandson Kaden. Carol lived to help others she found great joy in her work with the LDS Church and working in her various callings.
Carol is survived by her husband Willis Converse, son Doyle (Barbie) Converse, daughter Corinna (Clark) Jones, and son Curtis (Janine) Converse. Grandchildren Brooke (Marcus) Frame, AAron Converse, Joshua (Kelsey) Jones, Dannielle Jones, Hayden Jones, Rebekah Converse, Jacob Converse, Jordan Converse, and Sarah Converse. Other survivors include, Great grandson Kaden Frame. Sister Velda Peterson, Brother Dale (Sybil) Leatham, Brother Doug (Sharon) Leatham. She was preceded in death by her grandson Jordan Jones.
Funeral services will be held at the Academy Park Ward, LDS Church Bldg (4650 West Point Drive, West Valley, UT) on September 9, 2011 at 11:00 am. The family will meet with friends prior to services from 9:30 am - 10:45 am. Interment will be on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in the Hillcrest Cemetery at 11:00 am, (750 E. 1200 N. Shelley, Idaho).
