Carol Sutherland passed away peacefully at her home in Provo, Utah on May 24, 2010. She was born August 7, 1934 to her parents Morris Rasmussen Snell and Pearl Evans Snell. She is the oldest of their three children.
Carol attended BYU Academy and BYU High School until her senior year where she attended and graduated from Provo High School.
Carol married the love of her life James A Sutherland on April 6, 1968 and they were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple on October 22, 1989.
Carol is survived by a sister Sylvia Taylor her husband Jim and their six children; Kathy Gardner, Greg Young (Denise); Randy Young (Andrea); Kerry Sutherland (Jo Ann); Sam Sutherland (Christine); Sara Terry (Mike); 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Carol worked for Provo city for several years. She is a member of the LDS church where she served in many positions.
The family would like to express gratitude to many people for their care and support during this time.
Viewing will be Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1090 W. 1020 S., Provo, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11:00 am with a viewing an hour before at 10:00 am at 1090 W. 1020 S. Provo, Utah. Interment at the Provo Cemetery.
