Casey James Neumeyer (40), was born June 1, 1984, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Rick and Linda Neumeyer. His unexpected passing on January 28, 2025, has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. He is preceded in death by his father and son, Nickolas Neumeyer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nichole Page Neumeyer, and their children Karley and Caden Neumeyer, his mother, Linda Neumeyer, his four siblings, many nieces and nephews and his in-laws.
Casey grew up in Centerville, Utah. He attended Centerville Elementary, Centerville Jr. High, and Viewmont High School. Casey and Nichole's journey began after Casey graduated from high school, and Nichole was in high school. They quickly formed a deep connection, falling in love, and were married January 29, 2005. Together they lived for a short time on the Big Island of Hawaii; North Salt Lake, Sugarhouse, Centerville, Utah; and then Pacifica, California, before moving back to Salt Lake County.
Casey was an extremely hardworking husband and father. For several years he served as a contractor for Southwest Airlines, managing their ground equipment through his company, CJN Aviation Services.
Casey adored his three kids and cherished every moment spent with them. He loved sampling Karley’s pretend cooking when she was little, and he was always there to support her at cheer competitions. He felt immense pride in being her dad and took great joy in all that she accomplished. When Nick was only a toddler, Casey strapped him to a snowboard, created snow hills in the backyard and taught him how to snowboard. Casey and Nick also built a gaming computer together—driving around to pick up the parts, working side by side to assemble it, and creating something they could both be proud of. When Caden was just 10 months old, Casey taught him to ride a hoverboard. To Casey’s delight, it wasn’t long before Caden made international headlines as the hoverboard baby. Caden will surely miss wrestling with his dad and his epic back massages.
Casey loved the outdoors, never passing up a chance to go camping with his family. Whether driving his jeep through rugged trails, or relaxing around a campfire, he was in his element when he was outdoors. His appreciation for nature was matched only by his love for good company, often talking for hours about why Android was superior to Apple, diving deep into the latest advancements in AI, or eagerly showing off his latest tech gadget, always ready to share his newest discoveries.
Casey was a true creator at heart, known for his passion for tinkering and building anything and everything that sparked his curiosity. Whether it was fixing a broken tool, crafting a new invention, or diving into a project just for the sake of learning, he found joy in the process of making things work. His hands were never still—constantly adjusting, improving, or inventing something new. His garage, workshop, and even the backyard were filled with half-finished projects, each one a testament to his boundless imagination and determination. Friends and family often called on him for help, knowing that Casey could fix nearly anything with a little time and ingenuity.
We will honor Casey’s memory by cherishing the moments we shared with him. We are eternally grateful for the privilege of knowing and loving him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
