Chadra Carbine Miller

Our Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at her home Sept 26, 2012 after a 16 year battle with cancer. Born June 1, 1936 to Parents Joseph Leroi Carbine and Verona Richardson in Mesilla Park, NM.
Survived by her husband of 53 years, Clyde Alan Miller, and their children: Sharilyn, Marci, Michael (Ginna), Jared (Kristin), Janae (Fred Bennett), Jannika, Jason (Elizabeth), Matthew (Debra), and unofficial adoptees Tammee (James Sallmon) and Robin Lacy. 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and Siblings Ellen (Dan Simper), J. Anthon (Karen), David (Rosanne). Preceeded in death by her Mother, Father and siblings Ivan, Dennis and Joan Eyre.
Mom loved spending time with her family. She had an incredible sense of adventure and loved to travel. She taught her children a love of nature and exploring. She was a tender, thoughtful grandmother, who loved spoiling her grandchildren with sweet rolls, dum-dum suckers, and other surprises. She had a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and shared that knowledge with her children and grandchildren. She was a hard worker and brought many simple pleasures to her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and filled our home with love and laughter. We miss you already.

Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7035 Nutree Drive (3340 East), Salt Lake City, Utah. Evening viewing Tuesday, October 2, 6 pm-8 pm, Morning viewing Wednesday, October 3, 9:30 am, followed by funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Crescent Cemetery, 11105 South State Street, Sandy, Utah.
