Charles M. Andersen "Chuck" 41 years old, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2011, in his home in Lehi.
He left this life with his sweetheart, best friend and caregiver Julie Oliver Andersen at his side. Chuck, Julie and their children Abby, Mitchell, Gracie and Olivia fought a courageous 7 ½-year battle against cancer. They graciously and lovingly let many people share in their life and experiences. During his last months, hundreds of family members and friends spent hours at his side.
Chuck will always be remembered as a giant of a man. He was a true and loving friend, brother, uncle, son, Father and Husband. He is greatly loved because of his listening ear, encouraging words, great sense of humor and giant hugs. He lifted people up even while in his lowest times. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the gospel and taught what he believed through action and deeds.
Chuck's greatest joy was his children. For an extended 7 ½ years, Chuck was blessed to be able to stay at home and raise and nurture his children. Every day was committed to their happiness and joy and development. His greatest legacy to his children was to form and shape them lovingly into confident and happy children as he nurtured their strengths and built their characters.
Chuck was most at home in the mountains, which he loved. He was a gifted hunter, outdoors-man and golfer. Many of the greatest experiences of his life took place with family and friends while enjoying nature. His family is especially thankful for the hunts that were arranged for Chuck during his illness and all the other generous gifts and services that were given. These experiences have blessed their lives and given them many eternal memories. Thanks to all of you who have done so many special things for Chuck and his family. Many tender mercies have been received. Charles "Chuck" Moroni Tillotson Andersen was born January 11, 1970, in Riverside, CA. He is the son of Wilson K. and Margaret T. Andersen of Orem, UT.
