Charles Ray "Chuck" Burton

Chuck moved on from this world 02/17/10 due to complications of heart disease while staying at the home of his son. Chuck was born 08/30/37 to Bessie Levine Smith and Joseph Henry Burton of Salt Lake City. Chuck was a West High School graduate. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps.
Chuck married Karen Louise Gordon of Tooele on 04/27/59. Through this endearing union was born one child (Jeff). Chuck had many hobbies and interests of which all shared a common bond of his love for Gods creations. Though he had many skills his fondest memories were as a carpet installer as well as a Questar Gas employee. Chuck will be especially remembered as the doting caregiver for Karen in those last years of her life.
Chuck is survived by brother Russ (Josie), son Jeff (Lori), grandson Chris (Kayli), granddaughter Lisa (Jeremy), granddaughter Shari and great grandson Carter as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and his "Questar Family". Preceded in death by his precious wife of 40 years, parents, sisters: Marian and Elaine, and brothers: William and Joseph.
Visitation/Funeral services to be held at the Woods on Ninth Reception Center (6775 S. 900 E.) in Midvale, Utah on Friday 02/26/10 from 10:00 to 12:00. Interment will follow at Murray City Cemetery.
