Charles James Lindahl passed away Nov. 27, 2007, in Bountiful, Utah. He was born Jan. 20, 1923 to James Ferribee and Gladys Elizabeth Gray Lindahl in Murray, Utah.
He married Barbara Carol Julian Olsen on May 2, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 23, 1962.
He attended Granite High School. He served his country in the army during World War II. He was an industrial salesman and earned many awards from Lawson Products. He enjoyed golfing and walking and his time with family.
Preceded in death by his wife; son, Chuck; and grandson, Todd. He is survived by his children; Linda Kaye (Fritz) Kloer, Barbara Jan (Ken) Kunz, Jill Anne Gormory, and Debra Elizabeth Griffiths. He is also survived by Blaine Gray Lindahl, Jay Alvin Lindahl, Kay Richard Lindahl, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, 2007 at 11 am. at the Central Park Ward located at 2700 South 300 East in Salt Lake City. Viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Murray City Cemetery. The family would like to express thanks to the staff at Avalon Care Center and Kay Richard Lindahl.
