Charles Elwood Moore passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 22nd, 2012.
He was born on December 12, 1927 in Sheridan Wyoming. He married Erna Baer Moore on July 14, 1962 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Charles and Erna enjoyed traveling and took many trips together, covering the majority of the Western United States. He also toured Europe, sightseeing in Germany and Switzerland.
Charles loved classical music, the great outdoors and capturing his thoughts and memories in expansive journals. He was a veteran in the United States Army, and then worked for many years until retirement at Holy Cross Hospital in the maintenance department.
Erna preceded him in death.
Charles is survived by his two sons and their families, Gary and Polly of Draper, Peter and Catherine of West Valley, and his grandchildren, Zack, Gunnar and Cooper. Special thanks to Southtowne Ranch and Beehive Homes for all of their special care.
A gravesite funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Estates located at 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
