Charles Del Mar Spurrier Known and loved by the name of "Cheerful" Charlie, he has been taken home to be with his deceased family members. Charles was born October 3, 1920 in Provo, Utah to Reuben Lester Spurrier and Anna Estella Williams. He is survived by his wife, Margie Lena Bowman, and five of his seven children: Linda Andrew, Vivian Pulley, Charlena Jolley, Dennis Spurrier and LaVerne Kasperson. His two deceased children are: David Spurrier and Don Earl Spurrier. Charles leaves posterity of over 170. Charles was a man of many talents and varied interests, who loved life and lived it to its fullest. He loved his family, church, friends, entertaining and making others happy. He entertained everyone with his gifted fingers on the piano, accordion and organ in addition to his beautiful singing voice. He spent much of his life flying airplanes and riding motorcycles with family members accompanying him. He loved and served the Lord until the day he passed. There will be a viewing held from 6:30 to 8:30 Friday evening at 6411 W. 11800 North, Highland, Utah. There will also be a viewing Saturday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 at the same Chapel, followed by the family prayer with the funeral service beginning at 10:30. The gravesite will be dedicated and he will be laid to rest in the Orem Cemetery.
