Charlotte Ann Richards

One of our Heavenly Father's most precious daughters returned home to His loving arms. Charlotte Ann Tracy Richards passed away peacefully Thursday, June 12, 2008, in Springville , Utah with her children by her side.
She was born July 12, 1949 in Logan , Utah to Seth Eugene Tracy and Betty Ann Clayton. As a young girl, she had the opportunity to live across the country while her father served in the United States Air Force, eventually ending up in Renton , Washington . She later returned to Utah to be by her children and grandchildren.
As a woman she fulfilled one of her greatest desires-to be the mother of seven beautiful children. Our mother found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren. They were the reason she fought so courageously to the end of her mortality.
Mother was an intelligent woman who was a talented pianist and had a great love for her Savior and the gospel of Jesus Christ. She served willingly and faithfully in many church callings, most recently serving in the Provo Temple , and had the special gift of communicating her love of the gospel with those to whom she served. Her legacy of faith left an impact on all who knew her. She would often have beautiful music playing in her home with a warm inviting feeling for all who entered. Mom was a wonderful seamstress and used this talent making beautiful clothing, quilts, and baby blankets for her children and grandchildren. Her children and many others were beneficiaries of her wonderful cooking. There was nothing like mom's home cooking made with love.
Mom was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her children, Gary (Cidne) Richards, Orem, UT; Gina (Ron) Otterstrom, Spanish Fork, UT; Gregory (Kara) Richards, Puyallup, WA; Geoffrey (Nicole) Richards, Spanish Fork, UT; Grant (Barbara) Richards, Lehi, UT; Gordon (Tricia) Richards, Orem, UT; Gayle Richards, Springville, UT; 15 grandchildren with another expected in September. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Tracy, and her siblings, Sharon Rock, Cheryl Dummitt, and Enos Tracy, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
For those who wish to pay their respects there will be a public viewing Tuesday, June 17, 6:00-8:00 pm, Kolob 11th Ward building, 1627 W. Cadbury Lane (1200 S.), Springville.
