Chase Stewart MacKay, our cherished angel, passed away November 28, 2010. Dennis and Jolene MacKay were blessed to be his parents. He is the special brother of Kyle & Jen, Kirk & Jamie, Chad & Brenda, Chris & Candis, Shaun and Cherie; uncle to seven nieces and nephews.
Chase was an inspiration to all he came in contact with. His beautiful smile always warmed your heart, brightened your day and instantly you were aware of his greatness. Chase loved attending school at Helen J. Stewart and Jordan Valley. He was always everyone's favorite and teachers were quickly wrapped around his finger. Chase's family, however, led his fan club.
His older brothers grew up watching over him, caring for him and serving him. As he lost the ability to walk, his brothers and his dad would lift and carry him to where he needed to go. They gave new meaning to the song "He ain't Heavy; He's My Brother". The loving bond between Chase and his brothers and sisters will extend into eternity.
Chase is his Mom and Dad's special light that brightened up their home. Words cannot begin to express how very much he will be missed, but we are happy for him that he is now free to run and walk and to fulfill his mission in heaven. Chase is truly one of the most amazing young men that ever lived.
