Chet LaVar Moore 47 died at his home in Salt Lake City on Friday April 20, 2007. He was born in Salt Lake City on July 14, 1959 to Gayle Burningham Cunningham and Virgil LaVar Moore (deceased). From the time he was a child until the day he died he loved being outdoors. Whether he was fishing, skiing, hunting, camping, or more fishing he loved life and always lived it to the fullest.
He loved his family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand. For many years he was an active member of the Masonic organization where he made many life long friends and enjoyed helping others through charity.
In 1977 he married Gloria J. Thomson and on January 18, 1978 his ultimate joy and love of life was born, his daughter Brandy. From then on his life revolved around her and being the best father he could be. The second biggest joy in his life happened on March 4, 2005 when his Granddaughter Aaliyah was born. He was a fantastic Grandfather, Father, Son, Brother, and friend; and always made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his daughter Brandy Moore, son-in-law Cameron Kueffner, Granddaughter Aaliyah Kueffner, Brother Chad Moore, Sister Chris (Travis) Heywood, his dog C.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
Memorial graveside services will be held Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Bountiful Cemetery (2224 S. 200 W.) at 12:00 noon. The family will meet friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service at the cemetery.
