Christine Lee Andersen 40, angel wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, neighbor and friend completed her time on earth December 7, 2010. She died at home of metastases melanoma cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family of 8 children and her eternal companion Ronnie whom she was married to for 20 years. She was a joy to all those that knew her.
She started her life in Ogden, Utah a daughter of John R. and Rebecca Lee on April 28, 1970. Christine attended and graduated Weber High School. Following High School she enjoyed the experience of being a Nanny in Pennsylvania for a year. She returned home and soon after met her eternal love.
She married Ronnie J. Andersen, son of John and Jerrline Andersen of Payson, Utah on Feb. 23rd 1990 in the Salt Lake City temple. One by one her eight children brought additional joy into their home. McKensey now 19 (talented in singing and performing), Cody 17 (bodybuilding and an eagle scout), McKaila 16 (soccer player for Salam High), Aubrey 15 (cheerleader at American Leadership Academy), Ashlee 13 (artist and performer), Ryden 11, Javen 9, Jace 8,(who are outstanding students at Spring Lake Elementery and active in scouting). Christine's life was dedicated to serving others, especially her family. She cherished the many years she was able to home-school all of her children and give them their strong moral background that has helped them become who they are today.
Christine and husband Ronnie lived in Springville, Santaquin and have resided in Payson for 17 years. Christine loved going to church with her family and has served in all organizations. She was just recently released as Relief Society President in the LDS Spring Lake 5th ward. She loved serving the women in the ward.
Her mission was complete as she accomplished all she set out to do. She is now enjoying the company of her grandchildren on the other side preparing them to meet their parents someday.
Christine will be missed by so many. We love her so much. Her family will wait with anticipation for the day when they will be reunited with her again.
A special thanks to the wonderful people from Alpha Hospice Care for their loving care and support during the last 3 months, especially Candi, Amber, John and Janet. You made the process from life to death a beautiful experience and we as a family appreciate your tender care.
