Claire Rosa Bacher, 87, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2007 in Draper, Utah. She was born November 5, 1919 in Enneuda, Switzerland to Joseph Franz and Wilhamina Rosa Riekert Bacher.
A woman of culture, Claire lived in New York City and Zurich, Switzerland before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Columbia University and worked as a Pathology Laboratory Technician. Claire loved the outdoors. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Claire is survived by her brother Frank Bacher of Mill Valley, California and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 South 700 East, in Sandy, Utah.
