Connie Steiner passed away at home and went to be with the Lord on Sept. 25, 2008. She was born March 4, 1925 to John William Conrad and Helen Farrol in Walton, Kentucky. Connie attended schools in Northern Kentucky and Western University in Cleveland, Ohio.
She started a retail career with the Higbee Co. in Cleveland and then El Paso, Texas with Holdsworth and Feders Jewelers. It was in El Paso, Texas that she married Gerald (Jerry) Steiner on Sept 18, 1949. After moving to Salt Lake City, Utah, she continued her retail career and began working for Charles Anthony and the fine jewelry departments at Weinstocks and ZCMI.
Connie is survived by her sister Marge (Ray) Lann, son Tim (Carole) C. Steiner, grandson Geoffrey, and her loving cat Beauty. Preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald (Jerry) Reidy Steiner and brother Harold Conrad.
Connie was a lady full of grace and love whose qualities touched anyone that knew her. She was an exceptional wife, mom, and grandmother and a great example to all. She will be deeply missed.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Shriners Hospital for Children.
