David C. Kobel

David C. Kobel of Ogden, UT, passed away from long-term illness at the age of 70 on Thursday April 8th, 2010 at home with his loving wife Dora Kobel and family at his side.
He was born June 17th 1939 to June & William R Kobel of Ogden. He owned Dave Kobel Heating & Air Conditioning.
One of Dave's life long passions was his love for the Harley Davidson, owning and riding his entire life. He was also an avid outdoorsman who spent most his life hunting, fishing & camping. In addition to his love for his wife, family, & friends, he also loved dogs, playing cards, & pool.
He is survived by his wife Dora Kobel; two sisters, Edene (Larry) Acree of Ogden & Jolene (Gordon) Nelson of Kansas; children, Nonnie M, Jodie K, Tina K, Christy D, Annette (Richard) L, Patrick (Sam) J, Tawsha A, & Jessie R of Ogden; Kim J, Julie C, & Henry (Sheila) M of Oregon along with 25 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, & numerous close friends.
A fireside memorial will be held June 26th, 2010 @ Franklin Basin, his favorite vacation spot.
In lieu of flowers & live plants donations direct to the family would be greatly appreciated.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Access Hospice especially Vladimir, Dave's Hospice Aid, & Christy Downey who helped care for him & the family thru this difficult time. A special thanks also goes to SereniCare for the love & respect they showed for Dave and the family. We greatly appreciate it.
